Brain Rank game (windows store):
To sign in to the game, the user enters his email address. We use the email to send a magic link so the user can login to the game without having to use a password. Email addresses are stored in a secure server and not shared with anyone, email addresses are not visible to other users.
The user can sign in using their facebook account. We collect the user's email address from facebook to associate it with their game account. The email is saved in a secure server and not shared with anyone. The profile picture is visible to other users during a multiplayer game. Users can remove their profile picture by clicking on the picture in the main screen and then clicking on the delete button.
We only send emails to the user when they request a login, a change of email, or to delete their account.
The game allows the user to share their score on Facebook. This will make that information visible to other Facebook users. The user is asked to give consent to share the score each time they click the share on Facebook button.
After a multiplayer game, the user can share the score on Facebook. The shared Facebook post includes the profile picture, name, flag of country and game score of both users.
We also collect the user's name and country, which are visible to other users of the game when viewing the list of players and their rank in the game.
We send push notifications to the device where the game is installed. The user can stop these notifications by right clicking a notification and selecting 'Turn off notifications for this app' or by uninstalling the game.
The game allows users to add other players to their friend list. The only way to add another player is after playing a match against that player.
Users can send messages to other players on their friend list. Messages are stored on a secure server, no messages are stored on the user device.
When a user deletes another player from their friend list, all messages between the two players are permanently deleted and no further messages can be sent between them.
When a user deletes their account in the game, all messages between them and other players are deleted.
Uninstalling the game doesn't delete the user messages from the server.
Users can request that all the data that was collected from them be deleted. Here are the steps:
Open the brain rank game, click on your user name in the top right of the screen, click on the 'Account' button, click on the 'Delete' button, an email will be sent to you to confirm the request, click on the red button 'Delete Brain Rank account' in the email, this will open a page on the game website to confirm one last time, click on the button 'Delete my account' in the page, you will get a confirmation message on the page that the account was deleted.
This way, all of the data collected from the user is deleted, including: data collected from the user's facebook account (email, profile picture), email address collected directly from user and not through facebook, nickname, country, game scores, game ranks and all conversations with other users through the game.
The game displays some advertising videos and banners. Advertising networks use the user's unique Windows advertising ID to display more relevant advertising. Advertising networks can associate personal data they collect about the user with the user's Advertising ID and use that personal data to provide more relevant advertising. Users can opt out of this. To turn off advertising ID on Windows 10: Go to Start, then select Settings, Privacy, General. Then choose your preferred setting for the option: 'Let apps use advertising ID to make ads more interesting to you based on your app activity'.

This information is encrypted and saved in a configuration file in the appData folder on the user computer.
This history is saved to avoid re-entering this information every time the user uses the program.
This history can be easily deleted using the program, from the drop down to select the folder or the SQL server, there is a button to remove this history information.
